Dr. Rachel Speed
VeterinarianRachel Speed Webster, DVM attended Texas A&M University for both her undergraduate work and Veterinary Degree. She has over 18 years’ experience working in both day practices and emergency hospitals. Dr. Speed graduated in 2007 with her doctorate and moved to DFW. Before opening Trophy Club Animal Hospital, she practiced medicine at the Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas and Specialty Center for 10 years working intricately with highly trained specialists in the veterinary field. Her special interests include: customized preventative medicine, internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and surgery. Dr. Speed’s passion is to cultivate a genuine relationship with people and their beloved pets.
She enjoys spending her free time with Ryan, her husband, and their two daughters. Their four-legged children include their rescued pups: Cricket and Roofus their two boxers, Eddie the pit bull terrier, and Olaf the cat.
Dr. Meagan Pike
VeterinarianDr. Pike is a native Texan from Wichita Falls. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with an emphasis in Zoology from The University of Oklahoma. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University. After graduating, she worked in a mixed animal practice for over a year. Dr. Pike worked with a wide variety of species, handled emergency and farm calls. Dr. Pike took a position with Trophy Club Animal Hospital in May 2018. Her interests include oncology, internal medicine, surgery, and shelter medicine. Dr. Pike strives to provide a safe and compassionate environment for beloved pets and their families experiencing the grief of euthanasia.
In her free time, Dr. Pike enjoys spending time with her husband Robbie and their four fur babies: Tiberius, Sam, Bentley, and Piper. She also enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing and water sports.
Receptionist / Kennel TechnicianAmy is an excellent addition to our Trophy Club Animal Hospital family. Amy pursued her education at Texas Tech University in Hospitality and is currently attending veterinary technician school to further her knowledge in the field and pursue her long term goals. Amy worked in the veterinary specialty of Dermatology prior to joining our TCAH team. Amy has really enjoyed getting to know all of our clients and their fur babies.
In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling with her husband, watching Texas Tech football, and spoiling her fur children: Chloe the sheltie, and Belle the terrier.
ReceptionistWe are proud to have Lauren as our full-time receptionist. She has a kind heart, is an excellent communicator, is exceptionally organized, and has a passion for helping people and animals.
In her free time, she enjoys entertaining, baking, and spending time with her son, husband, and their three fur children: Cruz, Paris, and Cousin Mittens. Lauren is a hard worker, exceptionally organized, and is excited about making your experience at Trophy Club Animal Hospital be amazing!
ReceptionistKaren has been fortunate to spend 11 years in veterinary medicine. She is a very welcomed addition to our Trophy Club Animal Hospital family. Karen was brought up in Scotland and married her best friend, Jim. Karen has one son, Joseph, who is married to Leeann, and they have blessed them with their granddaughter, Teighan. Karen shares her home with her King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Hoopy, Lenee, Jinky, Duffee and Griff.
When able she enjoys going back to Scotland to visit her parents or vacationing in Orlando. Karen loves to spend time watching her soccer team, Glasgow Celtic “COYBIG”, and watching any college football especially-Texas A&M University. Karen enjoys giving back to help fundraise for both Celtic and MS foundations. She has also spent many years assisting in Cavalier rescues.
Laura Moren, LVT
Laura is a Licensed Veterinarian Technician with over thirty years’ experience in both day practice and emergency medicine. Having worked with Dr. Speed at the Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas, Laura is excited to be part of this team. Laura is highly trained in veterinary anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry. She has a passion for educating her co-workers and clients on animal care and medicine.
Laura and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, loving on her sheltie, Miss Maggie, and Lucy, her golden retriever grand-dog.
Lauren Cowles, LVT
Veterinary TechnicianLauren has been a veterinary technician for 11 years, and is a licensed veterinary technician. She graduated with her bachelors degree from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. Lauren has always known she wanted to work with animals and can’t see herself doing anything else. She enjoys getting to know clients and their pets on a more personal level. Lauren has found a close bond with both the patients and their owners makes even the tough visits a little easier. Lauren enjoys life with her husband, Michael, her 2 dogs (Lilly and Lobo), and her cat Mila. Lauren enjoys traveling, hiking, and doing anything outdoors. She also enjoys kickboxing in her free time.
Veterinary TechnicianCarianne is a Veterinary Technician that recently moved to DFW from Houston. Carianne joins Trophy Club Animal Hospital with 4 years of veterinary medicine experience. She is passionate about saving animals lives and making certain they feel loved every second they are under our care. Carianne loves being apart of the Trophy Club Animal Hospital team and loves getting to work everyday with our wonderful clients and patients.
In her free time, Carianne loves hiking with her two rescue dogs, Sammy and Blue.
Veterinary TechnicianDelaine joined the team in January 2019 with 10 years of experience as a veterinary technician. She has 3 dogs and 3 cats of her own at home. Pictured is her dachshund mix Remmy. Delaine has always had a passion for working with animals and takes great pride in helping them be healthy and happy. She also often fosters with local rescues. Delaine specializes in taking infant puppies and kittens whom have lost their mother and enjoys making sure they are well and find forever homes.
Veterinary TechnicianTrophy Club Animal Hospital is fortunate to have Sydni on its team. Sydni has 9 years of experience as a veterinary technician and we call her our “cat whisperer”. She has a passion for providing excellent care for all animals, while focusing on making them feel at home. Sydni is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable about animal healthcare.
In her free time, Sydni likes to spend time with her family, read, and attend veterinary continuing education events. She also enjoys spoiling her crew: Fritz, Millie, Goober, and Munchkin.
Veterinary Technician/Kennel TechnicianPayton joined the team in May of 2018 with three years of experience as a kennel technician. She recently graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and will be attending the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in the fall. Payton’s favorite part about working at TCAH is learning from the excellent doctors, technicians, and staff while caring for patients and interacting with clients. In her free time, you may find Payton soaking up the Texas sun and reading a book.
Payton is pictured with her fur-sister, Indi. While she doesn’t have any fur-babies of her own, she plans to one day own a hobby farm with two Angus steers named Seamus and Fergus, a few dogs, some sheep, and barn cats to keep everyone in line.
Veterinary TechnicianDanielle has been working in the veterinary field for 10 years. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree and worked at the Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas for 8 years, with Dr. Speed, prior to joining the TCAH team. She really has a passion for patient care.
In her free time, she enjoys quiet nights at home with her husband and 3 fur children; Harley Quinn, Goo, and Milton. She also enjoys time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and crafts.
Kennel TechnicianBrynn is a student at Byron Nelson High School and plans to study animal science in college. Brynn then plans to continue her education at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary medicine to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Brynn is a hard worker and a joy to have apart of our TCAH family. She enjoys giving TLC to all of our patients during their stay at our hospital and learning from the veterinary technicians.
In her free time, Brynn enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, and traveling. In the summer, she likes to go visit her family in Colorado and Missouri. Brynn loves being outside and staying active.
Kennel TechnicianMcKay is a college student and such a valuable part of the Trophy Club Animal Hospital team. McKay came to us with 3 years’ experience working with animals at the humane society and a pet boarding facility. She joined our team shortly after TCAH opened. McKay enjoys spoiling and taking phenomenal care of your fur babies when they come to see us or board during your travels. McKay also works as a receptionist at Trophy Club Animal Hospital.
In her free time, McKay likes to spend time with her family, boyfriend, and, to show her bull terrier, Nala, the world. McKay has such a sweet presence and the animals adore her.
Kennel TechnicianRachel is a high school student at Byron Nelson and is a special part of Trophy Club Animal Hospital’s team. Rachel spends most of her time taking excellent care of our boarding, grooming, and drop off patients, but also works as an assistant to our doctors and veterinary technicians.
In her free time, Rachel cheers on the Byron Nelson Varsity squad and likes to hang out with her family, friends, and sweet pup, Lacie. Rachel’s attention to detail and kind heart make her a phenomenal part of our team.
Kennel TechnicianJin is eager and excited to be a kennel technician here at TCAH. Jin has recently moved from New York and left his career as an Advertising Art Director in order to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. Jin discovered his life passion while working to help his dog and best friend, Tank, heal from Meningitis. Jin moved to DFW to join Trophy Club Animal Hospital for experience in the veterinary world, while taking pre-veterinary coursework.
Jin enjoys surgery and caring for the animals. He is passionate about discovering ways to better communicate with animals regarding their emotions and health. Jin loves Starbucks, Netflix, and hanging out with his best friend, Tank, the Maltipoo.
Kennel TechnicianCasey is a student at Byron Nelson High School and is in the Biomedical Sciences Academy. Casey plans to go up north to study Animal Sciences and play ice hockey after completing high school. She then wants to go to Minnesota University’s vet school to become a veterinarian up north. She loves learning new things as well as spoiling dogs and cats with love and compassion while working at the hospital. In her spare time she loves playing ice hockey, lacrosse, hanging out with friends and family, and listening to music.
Kennel TechnicianHannah is a high school junior currently enrolled in the Veterinary Science Certificate Program through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. She plans to pursue her degree in veterinary sciences with her goal of attending veterinary school at Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the TCAH team, Hannah volunteered at multiple animal shelters in the DFW area. We love having Hannah be apart of our team as she loves giving special care to each and every patient she sees. In her free time, Hannah enjoys playing softball, spending time with family and friends, and snuggling with her Cornish Rex kitten, Logan.
Kennel TechnicianBefore joining the TCAH team in July 2019, Sami worked at a boarding facility for 2 years. She has always dreamed of working with animals for a living as it is where she is the happiest! Sami loves being able to learn new things about veterinary medicine every day, and her long-term goal is to be a veterinary technician. Sami enjoys ensuring our patients are enjoying their stay at Trophy Club Animal Hospital, whether it is with extra snuggles and belly rubs or just throwing the ball in the yard. Sami’s hobbies include traveling and fishing with her husband and going to the park with her 4 fur kids, Jax, Chief, Mercy and Buddy.
GroomerDominique has 8 years’ experience as a full time groomer and is exceptionally talented. She specializes in poodles of all sizes and toy breeds. She is passionate about providing excellent service for our clients and their pets. Dominique is a great asset to our Trophy Club Animal Hospital family.
When not grooming, Dominique enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son play baseball.
GroomerRachel has been focusing on her grooming career for 2.5 years and has many more years of experience working with animals. As an animal lover, she is dedicated to animal rescue and always has a foster or two! Rachel loves grooming and is always happy to help dogs look and feel their best. She especially enjoys asian fusion, Teddy bear cuts, and other cute cuts!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children, and her four furry children; Hana the pom, Aria the chi mix, and her two ferrets named Shoelace and Furret. She also enjoys nature and tinkering with her planted aquariums.
GroomerRose is our newest addition to the grooming team at Trophy Club Animal Hospital. Although Rose is new to our team, she has over 25 years of grooming experience. Rose attended grooming school in Florida and is a certified professional dog groomer. She was also a grooming instructor for 5 years. Rose absolutely LOVES grooming and teaching. Rose’s favorite breed to groom are Bichon Frise and she has been called the “Bichon Lady.”
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, Andrew, and visiting their 3 grown children and 9 grandchildren. Rose loves traveling, camping, fishing, riding roller coasters, and playing frisbee golf.
Clinic KittyOlaf was adopted by Dr. Speed in 2013. He had several bite wounds, was covered in fleas, was not neutered, and was limping around the streets of Trophy Club. Olaf was doctored up and offered a forever home with Dr. Speed’s family. Olaf LOVES living at Trophy Club Animal Hospital because he gets to see his mommy more than sitting at home all day and enjoys watching over his team. Olaf enjoys greeting clients, keeping Lauren entertained early in the mornings by sitting on her keyboard while she schedules appointments, and enjoys sharing the love by fixing up and fostering kitties to help them find their forever homes.

Clinic KittySven was adopted by Trophy Club Animal Hospital in August 2019. Olaf spent several years fostering kitties and helping them find homes and decided it was time for a permanent resident. Sven is the PERFECT addition to our TCAH family. He is often found snuggling near the receptionist desk or in the back cuddled by the computers of his favorite employees.
Sven is not shy at all and will come running like a puppy when called. His favorite wrestle partner is Olaf. Sven loves other kitties, kids, dogs, and all of his Trophy Club Animal Hospital family.
